Here’s an excellent opportunity for some extra training that promises to be a lot of fun!

As a follow-up to the August 2012 Matayoshi Kobudo seminar that a few Charleswood Karate students participated in, weekly Kobudo weapons training session with Sensei Glenn Nakauchi of Winnipeg Eishin Ryu Iaido Kai are being held at our club.

This extra training is for open for any one interested aged 12+, and has a small fee to cover base costs

When, Where, How Much?

Start date:  Ongoing
Cost:          $20/month, bring your own 6′ bo staff (see below)
Where:        Charleswood Dojo on Roblin
When:        Sundays from 11 to 12:30pm

 

How To Register, What To Bring

No need to register, just come on out to a Sunday training, bring a bo, and pay your first month & sign a waiver and you’re in!

Be sure to bring:  6′ Wooden dowels (e.g. birch, maple or oak) which can be purchased from Rona, McDiarmid Lumber or Home Depot for ~$7-$10. Sais and tonfas will be provided by Sensei Glenn.
