Charleswood Karate offers two daytime classes a week designed for kyu ranks: Monday & Wednesday, 10-11 AM.
If you’re not yet a member of Charleswood Karate, signing up for the daytime classes is a great way to introduce yourself to our club and style of martial art.
If you’re already a member, this training is included in the regular membership fees and all members 13+ are welcome to attend. Kids who train with their parents are also welcome to participate.
What To Expect
Daytime classes are instructed by a handful of Charleswood Karate’s senior black belt students, and the focus of the class is on the progression of beginner and intermediate colored belt ranks.
Because of the smaller class size that daytime classes generally offer, students will find they get a lot more personal attention and have the opportunity to ask more questions during the training.
Bring A Friend!
One of the important parts of training a martial art is the friendships that grow in the process. If you’ve got friends who are interested in checking out our club for themselves or their kids, encourage them to come to either the daytime, or evening classes and watch from the side, or jump right in!
New To Our Club?
The daytime classes are set up to have instruction that is aimed towards adults who are brand new to karate, so if you’ve never tried Shotokan Karate in Winnipeg before and you’d like to give it a try, come on out!
